Sporthill Inc. has been representing Acres Farm Fenders in the United States since 1990.  As an established distributor for a line of British conservatories, we were not considering adding a line of custom-made furniture. However, Miranda Kettlewell, one of the owners of Sporthill, had been trying to find a source for club fenders in the U.S. without any luck. At the time, Miranda was living in a large 18^th century brick house in Connecticut, where the coziest room in the house was the original kitchen with a huge granite fireplace. She thought the room cried out for a club fender. Being British, she was surprised to find that such a functional piece of furniture was virtually unheard of in the U.S., and so the search moved to England.  With only a handful of companies making club fenders, the search was soon narrowed down to Acres Farm. In Miranda’s opinion, Acres Farm makes the best club fenders, and they were enthusiastic about expanding their sales to the U.S.  

It has been 15 years since Sporthill first started selling the Acres Farm Club Fenders, and we can wholeheartedly say it has been nothing but a pleasure.  The quality of the finished products has always been of the highest standard and the fenders are made to last many generations. Every fender is unique, and any design challenges we have sent to the workshop at Acres Farm have always more than pleased our clients.
